how do you practice japanese writing without burning out?

I used to treat writing Japanese like this big daily battle and I'd get so overwhelmed trying to draft perfect essays. Lately though I've just been writing one-sentence diaries on sticky notes, like "I saw a fluffy dog today" and sticking them on my monitor. It feels like a little ally in my study routine rather than a chore. Leaving room for tiny mistakes really saved my sanity. What small ways do you practice?
