mixing up 蓋 with every other grass radical kanji

Learned 蓋 for lid thinking it would be easy. Now my brain conflates 蓋 with 害 and 華 every time I skim a page. It all just looks like a pile of sticks at 1am. What was even the point of memorizing 蓋 when I am just going to mistake it for fifty other top-heavy characters anyway? So tired of this.
