Chaining conditional grammar patterns naturally

I've been trying to chain different conditional grammar patterns together when speaking, like combining 'even if' with 'as long as' in the same thought. It always feels so clunky when I do it but native speakers do it effortlessly. Do you guys usually just split them into two sentences, or is there a trick to stacking them without sounding like a textbook?
