wait is 生後 the same word as afterlife?

ok so i saw 生後 in a sentence and got so confused. 生 is life and 後 is after right? so is it just 'afterlife' but backwards like in spanish? but then my app said it means 'after birth' for babies?? now im paranoid im gonna say this to someone and they think i mean ghosts. also is it the same word as 最後 or am i losing it idk
