pronunciation is so hard actually

okay so I always MESS UP the double vowels like when you hold the sound longer??? I literally called someone a grandmother once instead of a teacher wait no i mean aunt or is it the other way around?? anyway my roommate has this cat that always makes this weird noise when it eats and it reminds me of trying to do the rolled R sound which is basically a D?? or an L?? honestly i totally forgot my question but
