wait so i was looking at words for like king and pope and stuff and there are like so many different words that mean the same thing? but are they actually different or is it just like a polite level thing? like do i use one word for swimming when i'm in the pool and another word when i'm just talking about it? sorry if this is dumb but how do i know which one is the actual real word and not just a fake synonym?
