Why beginners overcomplicate Japanese pronunciation

Honestly most beginners make Japanese pronunciation way harder than it is. Having studied Spanish and French, it's super obvious to me that Japanese vowels work the exact same way. Everyone freaks out over pitch accent, but actually it's just basic syllable stress like in Romance languages. If you just speak it with a fluent Spanish cadence, native speakers will get you fine. Stop overthinking it.
