saw 潮 on a menu and now im confused

ok so i was at this cute sushi place near my apartment after my cat threw up on my rug this morning and i was already having a awful day, but anyway i looked at the menu and saw 潮 next to some soup dish? i thought shio was always written as 塩 for salt so i just sat there staring at 潮 for ten mins completely frozen. is this like a tide thing or salt or what is even happening here lol
