why is 末 ruining my 未来 efficiency stats

Hour 682 of Phase 3 and my SRS stats are tanking. My recognition speed for 未来 dropped 15% because of 末. Step one is identifying the top line length, step two is cross-referencing my database, but the 0.3s lag is killing my daily efficiency metrics. I cannot have 末 messing up my 未来 reviews during my 5 AM block. Anyone got a hard mathematical rule to split 未 vs 末? It's ruining my spreadsheet tracker.
