is anyone actually saying 数々 or is my textbook lying

so i memorized 数々 because the deck said it means 'numerous'. sounds easy right? double kanji, cute. but i swear every time i try to use it in a normal conversation people look at me like i just quoted classical poetry. is this just another JLPT bait word that nobody under the age of 80 actually uses? because honestly im tired of learning vocabulary that just makes me sound like a weirdo.
