Connecting grammar patterns in actual speech

So I tried this experiment where instead of drilling single grammar points, I forced myself to chain three of them together in a quick journal entry daily. It really helped me see the tendency of which structures actually flow together and which ones feel super forced. My flow got way better but I still struggle with making the transitions sound natural. How do you guys practice linking grammar in real-time?
