stop overthinking 役員 vs 駅員

Actually, people who complain about mixing up 役員 and 駅員 are just lazy. They sound the same because they mean the same thing. 役 is role, 駅 is station. Obviously, a station worker is just a 'role member' in the transit system. I always use 役員 at the ticket gates and they never correct me. It is literally a cheat code.
