How to catch your own pronunciation mistakes?

I try to practice speaking out loud in my car every morning but I always feel like I'm saying things wrong. Especially longer words like promotion or corporation. I don't have a teacher to correct me so maybe I am just repeating bad habits. How do you guys catch your own pronunciation mistakes when studying alone? I want to build confidence but I'm scared of practicing the wrong way.
