Linking grammar patterns during daily chores

I try to practice speaking while I do house chores like cleaning. I can use simple patterns, but I struggle to connect them when I want to say more complex things. For example, combining "starting a task" with "doing something else." How do you practice linking different rules together in real-time? I want to make this a daily habit, but I keep getting stuck. Any tips?
