Vocab review when life gets busy

I've been having a tough time keeping up with my flashcards lately since work is so hectic. I usually like to sit down and really compare how similar words differ in nuance but there's just no time for that right now. I'm trying to decide if doing quick sessions on the bus is actually helpful or if I'm just going through the motions. Do you guys prioritize quantity or quality when youre short on time?
