Why are you guys still struggling with kanji speed?

Honestly people overcomplicate this. In Spanish we just drop vowels when texting, and kana is literally the same shorthand concept. If you need to write fast, just skip kanji entirely. Kanji is only for formal print anyway, like capital letters in German. Kana is designed for speed. Writing kanji quickly is a waste of time when you can just phonetically write everything.
