stop overcomplicating 刀 it is literally so simple

people complain about drilling 刀 but actually it’s just the same as romance languages. in spanish we have 'cortar' (to cut) and the kanji 刀 literally looks like a giant C. i just write it out while thinking of 'corte' and boom, memorized. i don't get why people need fancy apps for this. it’s just basic linguistic mapping lol. works for related words like 稽古 too if you know french.
