How do you guys actually review vocab without dying?

Okay so flashcards are literally the WORST thing ever invented like i swear my brain melts after five of them. I tried writing down words like villa and happy over and over but i got so BOARD and started drawing veins on my hand instead?? haha anyway does anyone have any FUN ways to do this?
