I see beginners wasting 50+ hours on accent training without metrics. Here is the phase 1 protocol. Step 1, allocate exactly 12 minutes daily to pitch accent graphs. Step 2, record your audio and map the frequencies to a 0-100 scale. Step 3, do not speak to actual humans until phase 3 (approx hour 450). If your pitch deviates by more than 4% from the standard database you are failing.
