how do yall drill 暗闇 without dying of boredom

ok so im trying to grill 暗闇 (darkness rite?) but flashcards make me wanna cry. i tried writing it like fifty times but then i got tiered and started playing pokemon instead lol. is there a way to make this fun? like maybe writing it on my walls in the dark? my phone keeps autocorrecting it to crying which is kinda fitting tbh. how do u memorize words like 暗闇 without losing your hole mind
