Just wiped my Anki deck for the fourth time this year because I can't even get basic double consonants or vowel lengths down. Why do people obsess over pitch accent anyway? I sound like a broken robot trying to say basic words. Pretty sure locals will just cringe no matter how hard I try. I'm just gonna mumble everything at this point, who cares.
