Squeezing Japanese practice into 5-minute gaps

Lately I've been trying to use my tiny breaks to just deconstruct a single line of dialogue from a show. It's way more effective than broad review because you catch those subtle nuances you'd miss otherwise. I find that focusing on how a specific phrase is received in context helps more than just doing drills again. Does anyone else prefer these deep dives over flashcards when you're short on time.
