making the kanji 糸 actually fun to drill??

so i was struggling with 糸 and its sooo boring to write. so what i do is i literally trace it on my leg while watching tv and i yell 'EE-TOOO' like a dying bird lol. if you make the 'ee' sound really long it helps you remember the thread shape somehow?? wait no maybe it doesnt but anyway i also draw little spiders on my notes to help. is that weird? anyway it works for me but now my hand hurts. at least im not asleep
