People always whine about losing motivation after a break, but you're looking at this all wrong. Actually, Japanese is a downstream language structurally, meaning once you learn the basic kanji, your brain stores it in the permanent visual cortex anyway. You literally can't 'forget' it. You don't need 'motivation' to restart, you just need to trigger the active recall. Stop overcomplicating a simple cognitive process
