why does everyone struggle with particles lol

Honestly, people overcomplicate particles so much. If you speak a Romance language like Spanish, it's literally just prepositions. The topic marker is just like saying 'quant à' in French, and the subject marker is basically just the nominative case from Latin. I just map them to my French grammar rules and I never get them wrong. It's actually super simple if you have a multilingual background.
