actually 記入 does not mean write with a pen

Everyone keeps saying 記入 is only for handwriting on paper forms. That is literally false. Look at the kanji. 記 is record and 入 is enter. It is just data entry. I use 記入 when typing on my phone or filling out online PDFs. Honestly, if you are still telling people 記入 is only for pens, you are spreading misinformation. It is basically the same as typing.
