Saw 倍増 at the pharmacy and I am so confused

so i was in a 薬局 today and saw this sign with 倍増 on it and i swear i thought it was something about division but its double?? there telling me it means double but i dont no if thats right because it looks like another kanji. also i need to do visa 手続き soon ugh anyway can i use 倍増 for like my stress level doubling or is it only for math? because my stress is def doubled now
