Last week was packed, so I tested reviewing vocab while on the move. I noticed my recall for words like 情勢 was 20% higher when I linked them to specific spots on my route, like the subway 階段. Previously, I just did a general (一般) review session at my desk, but the active spatial association seems more effective for retention during crunch time.
